Friday is the day we’ll get December’s jobs figures from Statistics Canada. In November, the national unemployment rate rose to 6.8 per cent, while the economy added 51-thousand jobs.. PEI’s economy had added 2,700 jobs in November and the provincial unemployment rate was down to 8.0 percent.
