Premier Dennis King releases statement marking Human Rights Day

Premier Dennis King released a statement on Tuesday for Human Rights Day.  King says the day is an important reminder of the values of equality, dignity, and respect that all people should be afforded.  He says all Islanders are encouraged to reject discrimination and work together to build a more inclusive and equitable community for all.  The Premier’s statement notes that human rights play a crucial role in addressing discrimination and inequality.
