PEI RCMP stopped 7 impaired drivers on weekend

PEI RCMP stopped seven impaired drivers over the weekend. The RCMP had set up ten checkpoints over the weekend.  They included a checkpoint in Wheatley River, where RCMP say 3 impaired drivers were identified in just 1.5 hours. Checkpoints were also set up in Kinkora; Wilmot; Valleyfield; Stratford; Lower Montague; New London; Slemon Park and Brudenell.  The RCMP says the impaired driving cases involved alcohol and drugs.
