Use of drone helps RCMP find lost woman in Kings County

On Saturday morning at about 10:45am, a man reported to King’s District RCMP that his wife became disoriented in a wooded area after she went looking for her lost dog. Using a drone, RCMP were able to quickly find and guide the woman with her dog back to safety.  The RCMP says the quick success in responding to this incident highlights the critical role that modern tools, such as drones, play in aiding search incidents. The Mounties say that in this case, it brought about a quick resolution to an incident that otherwise might have required many more resources.
