RCMP says all safely escaped after vehicle catches fire in collision in Summerside

The RCMP says Route 2 near Lock Shore Road in Summerside was closed for a period of time Saturday afternoon following a two vehicle collision. One vehicle caught fire after all passengers had safely gotten out of the vehicle.  The section of road had to be closed to allow emergency workers to deal with the fire and remove the vehicles.
