Two Charlottetown women were arrested by the Charlottetown Police Services Street Crime Unit Officers following a 4 weeklong investigation on Thursday afternoon on Euston Street. Police say the pair were seen conducting a drug transaction and a short time later the Street Crime Unit executed a search warrant at the place of residence of one of the females on Euston Street. A total of 3056 methamphetamine tablets and $4,300 cash were seized by police. The two, both from Charlottetown, have been charged with possession of methamphetamine for the purpose of trafficking and have been released from custody on conditions and will appear in court on a later date.
