6-week drug investigation by Charlottetown Police results in charge for Charlottetown man

As a result of a 6-week drug investigation, the Charlottetown Police Street Crime Unit has charged a 49 year old Charlottetown man.  He was arrested Thursday morning on Capital Drive and police seized a quantity of crack cocaine.   Police say the man had also been charged with drug offences by the Street Crime Unit last October.  He now faces an additional charge of Possession of drugs for the purpose of trafficking, and has been remanded in custody pending a court appearance.
