Byron Carr murder case adjourned until March

An adjournment Thursday in a Charlottetown courtroom in the Byron Carr murder case.  The lawyer for 56-year old Todd Joseph Gallant of Souris appeared on his client’s behalf and told the court they were not ready to proceed at this time.  The defence and Crown agreed to adjourn the case until March 7th to allow for time to review the evidence.  Gallant, who is also known as Todd Joseph Irving, was arrested on Thursday of last week and formally charged last Friday with First Degree Murder and Interfering with Human Remains.
