Local business leader and philanthropist Warren Ellis, together with his wife Marlene and sons Josh and Brody, has made a generous gift of $100,000 to the Holland College Foundation’s Thrive campaign. The campaign is a $2.5 million fundraising effort to establish a centre for student wellness, resilience, and success at Holland College.
A broad range of services will be offered through the centre including mental health supports, a health clinic, academic support services, and career and academic counselling.
The Ellis family says it was inspired to support the initiative and sees it as an investment in the overall health and wellbeing of the province.
