The UPEI men’s hockey Panthers began a weekend road trip with a 7-2 win at Dalhousie in Halifax. Elias Cohen scored twice and Kaleb Pearson got his team leading 16th.
The women Panthers lost 2-1 at St. FX.
Sophie Bujold had the only UPEI goal.
Rimouski held off the Charlottetown Islanders, 6-5 in major junior. Alexandre Blais had three goals for the Oceanic including the winner.
Cole Huckins had a goal and two assists for the Islanders.
