Shortly before 2:00am on Thursday, Charlottetown Police responded to a break and enter in progress at a home on St Peters Road.
As Police arrived on scene, they found a woman in the driveway leaving the property. She was detained while other Officers spoke with the home owners. It was learned that they had been sleeping when they heard a window break, and got up and saw a woman at the bottom of the stairs exiting the front door. The woman was then arrested. A 32 year old Charlottetown woman has been charged with break and enter.
