Indigenous Veterans Day marked on Wednesday

The annual Indigenous Veterans Day Remembrance Service was held Wednesday at Abegweit First Nation.  It was a day to pay respect to the brave Indigenous Veterans who have served, and are currently serving our country.  The PEI RCMP, Canadian Armed Forces, representatives from Veterans Affairs Canada and the Abegweit First Nations community joined together to remember and acknowledge the sacrifices made by Indigenous veterans.
