Fall sitting of PEI Legislature starts Tuesday

Members of the PEI legislature are preparing for the start of the fall sitting.
The work of the legislature resumes Tuesday afternoon with Premier Dennis King’s government poised to introduce a revamped Mental Health Act.
As well, the Progressive Conservative government plans to replace the province’s Child Protection Act.
Both bills have been in development for years.
