Work to replace the bridge deck on the Bonshaw Bridge on the Trans-Canada Highway is scheduled to begin Monday.
Barriers will be in place to divert traffic around the work zone. Traffic is expected to be maintained. Motorists are asked to obey signs and slow down.
Traffic control personnel will be on site during construction. Electronic signs will also be in place to control traffic flow and warn oncoming vehicles of the work ahead.
Work is expected to wrap up on the Bonshaw Bridge in early December.
Passmore Street in Charlottetown will become a one-way street on Tuesday.
This comes as part of the street’s reconstruction project that has been going on during the summer.
Passmore will go from a two-way to one-way street with traffic heading east from Queen Street toward University.
Construction to replace a drainage culvert on Middleton Road begins Monday on Route 111 in Searletown.
Route 111 will be closed with only local traffic allowed during the project which should be complete by November 3rd.
