A 38-year old Cornwall man has been sentenced to ten years jail in connection with what’s believed to be the largest seizure of fentanyl in PEI history. In early February, he was charged with drug and firearm-related offenses when RCMP searched a home in Cornwall and seized 1.5-kilograms of fentanyl, 200 grams of cocaine and two loaded handguns. In July, the man pleaded guilty to drug and firearm charges and was sentenced this week to 10 years custody.
