First advance poll in Summerside by-election is Saturday

This Saturday is the first of three advance poll days for the by-election for Summerside’s Ward 3 Summerside-North.  Voters in Ward 3 are going to the polls to elect a single Councillor to fill the vacancy created on Summerside Council when Barb Ramsay won in District 22 Summerside – South Drive in the provincial election on April 3rd.  There will also be advance polls on Tuesday, May 23rd or on Friday, May 26th.  By-election Day is Monday, May 29th.  All polls will be open from 9 a.m. to 7 p.m.  There are seven candidates running for the Council seat – Lisa Bradshaw, Nicolas Cameron, Arlene Desroches, Krista Hickey, Patrick McMahon, Pete Peters and Gordie Whitlock.
