46-year old Freetown man facing charges for threats incident involving a firearm

On Tuesday, shortly before 11:00pm, East Prince RCMP responded to a call of a threats incident involving a firearm at a home in Freetown.  Police quickly located a 46-year-old man and safely arrested him shortly after arriving in the area. The man will be facing threats, firearms and impaired driving charges. No one was injured in the incident, and a shotgun was seized by police.  East Prince RCMP was assisted by Kensington Police, Summerside Police, the RCMP Police Dog Service and the RCMP Emergency Medical Response Team.
