Islanders are being encouraged to clean up litter along roadsides across PEI in advance of the 50th anniversary of PEI Women’s Institute Roadside Cleanup on May 13th. W-I yellow litter bags are available during business hours from ACCESS PEI sites, the PEI Public Library Service, Summerside City Hall, ANNE of Green Gables Chocolate stores and IWMC Facilities. Clear plastic bags from home can also be used.
The Department of Transportation and Infrastructure will pick up the WI waste bags starting May 15.
