More than 120-thousand striking Public Service Alliance of Canada members returned to work Monday morning after their union reached a tentative contract agreement with the Treasury Board overnight.
The four-year deal will see federal government workers get a raise totalling 12.6 per cent as well as a one-time lump sum payment of 25-hundred-dollars.
Workers will also have access to additional protection when managers make decisions about remote work.
35-thousand Canada Revenue Agency workers are still on strike and P-SAC says bargaining is continuing in that dispute.
