The final offer from the federal government, which aims to end the largest public service strike in Canadian history, is now on the table.
The Treasury Board released a statement that says the contract proposal extended to the union is its final offer.
It says the offer includes a better wage package and solutions to deal with priorities such as telework and seniority.
The Union, which is representing more than 100-thousand striking public servants, says they have received the offer and hoped to continue talks over the weekend. PEI has over 3,000 PSAC members on strike. The walkout began on April 19th.
