Gas, furnace oil and diesel prices all went down overnight in PEI. The Island Regulatory and Appeals Commission approved a decrease of 4.0 cents per litre in the price of gasoline, while the price of furnace oil went down by 5.0 cents per litre, and the price of diesel dropped by 5.0 cents per litre. Including taxes, pump prices for regular self-serve gasoline now range from 164.5 to 165.6 cents per litre and diesel costs between 161.9 and 163.1 cents per litre. The maximum price for furnace oil is 105.7 cents per litre.
