The City of Charlottetown is planning an extension to connect Beach Street and Park Street forming a crescent subdivision in the area.
An open house will be held on Monday to inform residents of the change.
The open house will be held in the Eastlink Centre Board Room from 7-8 p.m.
The City says when work is complete access from Riverside Drive to Kensington Road using Park Street will be blocked significantly and will reduce cut-through traffic by 90% and make it safer.
