Both the UPEI Board of Governors and UPEI Faculty Association members have the new collective agreement that was reached Friday morning. The collective agreement is effective July 1, 2022, to June 30, 2026, and will be posted in the coming weeks on UPEI’s website.
An emergency meeting of the University Senate took place late Friday afternoon to finalize the return-to-class plan. That plan will see classes resume on Monday (April 17), and there will be no formal final examination period. Officials say that allows instructional and assessment time to be extended while not changing the semester end date. The dates of Convocation 2023 will not change.
