The UPEI Board of Governors has offered to have their bargaining team return to the negotiating table on Saturday and Sunday this weekend if the striking UPEI Faculty Association responds by noon today. The Faculty Association in a release on Thursday says it had booked a meeting room on Monday to try to end the dispute over a new contract.
UPEI says it’s committed to finding a resolution that will end the dispute and minimize the effects on faculty and students.
UPEI has made requests for face-to-face meetings without the assistance of a third party to try to end the now two week old strike.
