With less than a week to go now until election day, the four major party leaders – the Progressive Conservatives’ Dennis King, Green’s Peter Bevan-Baker, Liberal Sharon Cameron, and the NDP’s Michelle Neill – took part in a television debate Monday night. As we’ve seen throughout the campaign, health care was the dominant issue of the debate as the leaders each discussed how their party would improve access to health care and attract and retain health care workers. Other issues debated last night included housing, land ownership, the cost of living, and preparedness for weather events such as Fiona.
