The last of Tropical Storm Nicole is bringing a lot of rain and some wind to the Island, today. 25 mm were recorded by 8 a.m. in central PEI.
The heavy rain began just after 6 a.m. on Saturday. It will taper to showers or drizzle in the evening with more rain coming on Sunday afternoon into Monday in what will be a wet week on the Island. There could even be some snow changing to rain on Wednesday.
A reminder to slow down on the roads and highways today with heavy rain falling which could cause some flash flooding. Environment Canada says some areas could see 40 to 60 mm of rain today.
