PEI Green Party leader Peter Bevan-Baker has Tweeted his concerns about the situation in Nova Scotia. He says what is happening to Mi’kmaq fishers in that province is unacceptable. Bevan-Baker says his party is in regular contact with Island Mi’kmaq leaders and stand with them in support. He says as treaty people we all have a responsibility to stop violence and intimidation.
