The Toronto Blue Jays (3-7) lost their 3rd straight, 7-2 in Cleveland as their bats remained lukewarm. The Jays did tie their season high with 10 hits but Indians starter Carlos Carrasco struck out 12 batters in 5 innings of work becoming the first pitcher to do that since 1908. A two-run single by Jake Bauers in the 3rd broke the game open. Freddy Galvis homered for Toronto.
