Consolidated Credit Union is opening a new service branch inside the Credit Union Place lobby.
Sarah Millar, General Manager of the Credit Union says it’s a good way for their customers who take in activities at arena complex to do some banking while on the site.
A ten year agreement is in place which will allow customers to come to Credit Union Place to do some banking using some existing staff members.
Millar says it will customers won’t have to make a stop at the branch office if they are already at Credit Union Place.
The hours of operation differ from the regular branch which means customers can take advantage of the banking service available at different hours.
An ATM will be among the items available once renovations are complete.
People will still have to meet a staff person to sign papers and other banking duties.
Renovations will be complete in early November and they have hope to have staff working in Credit Union Place by the end of November.
All renovations should be complete by early 2019.
