The Charlottetown Police Major Crime Unit has laid seven charges against a 22-year old Charlottetown man. On January 30th, Charlottetown Police received a report that a female minor was being sexually exploited by an older male in Charlottetown. On April 8th, the Charlottetown Police Major Crime Unit arrested the man and he’s been charged with a number of sex-related offences including Luring a child; Sexual Interference; Sexual Assault; and Transmit Child Pornography – Written Material. He’s been released on strict conditions and will appear in a Charlottetown Provincial Court on May 8th.
