Climate Action Plan approved by Charlottetown City Council

Charlottetown City Council has approved a Climate Action Plan for the City – a Plan that is the result of much public engagement. The Climate Action Plan establishes goals and actions to prepare Charlottetown for the impacts of climate change and reduce greenhouse gas emissions.  It identifies targets and indicators to track the City’s progress toward implementation, including reducing corporate greenhouse gas emissions by 30 per cent below 2015 levels by 2030 and by 60 per cent by 2040.
