The Island Regulatory and Appeals Commission has approved decreases in gas, diesel and furnace oil prices. The price of regular gasoline decreased overnight by 2.5 cents per litre, while the price of premium gasoline went down by 2.0 cents per litre. The price of furnace oil dropped by 4.0 cents per litre, and the price of diesel decreased by 2.5 cents per litre. Including taxes, pump prices for regular self-serve gasoline now range from $1.45 to $1.46 per litre. Diesel costs you about $1.52 to $1.53 per litre. The maximum price for furnace oil is $1.15 per litre.
