Salvation Army marks completion of Emergency Preparedness Project

A ceremony Thursday as the Salvation Army is marking the completion of an Emergency Preparedness project in Charlottetown.  The project includes a renovated commercial kitchen, the installation of a backup power generator, and the arrival of a new emergency and disaster services service truck. The Salvation Army says the new emergency preparedness equipment will allow it to respond, when called upon, to emergency events and disasters that require immediate and medium-term care for physical and spiritual needs.
