The Queen Elizabeth Hospital Foundation’s Friends for Life campaign was a big success. The campaign raised $1.3-million, fully funding the replacement of a specialized operating table and critical urology equipment.
Those funds help provide state-of-the-art equipment that is vital for the hospital’s surgical teams which perform more than 700 life-saving procedures each year for Islanders facing kidney stones, bladder cancer, and prostate disease.
