The Provincial government has failed to keep its promise to eliminate the waiting list for residents seeking a family doctor by April 2025.
Former Premier Dennis King made the promise in March 2023 when there were more than 28-thousand people on the registry.
But the waitlist has grown since then, with Health P-E-I saying that as of Monday, there were 37-thousand people on the list.
