RCMP execute search warrant in Harrington and hold one woman in custody

On Saturday, the RCMP executed a search warrant at a home in Harrington as part of an investigation into a November 2024 break-in at a home in St. Georges.  Two men and a woman were initially arrested at the home and released. A second woman was arrested at the home and held in custody. During the search, RCMP located over $10,000 in stolen property, including sentimental artifacts and family heirlooms along with bear spray, cocaine and approximately 124 unknown pills. As a result of the investigation, PEI RCMP laid several charges against the second woman including Possession of Property Obtained by Crime over $5,000; Possession of Property Obtained by Crime for the Purpose of Trafficking; Possession of Break-in Instruments; and Possession of a Weapon for a Purpose of Committing an Offence.  The investigation is ongoing.
