PEI business and community leader Carolyn Murphy has passed away

Prince Edward Island is mourning the loss of one of its business and community leaders.  Carolyn Murphy passed away Saturday at the Queen Elizabeth Hospital.  Carolyn’s contributions as co-founder, with her husband Ray, have been instrumental to the success of their family-owned and operated businesses, including Murphy’s Pharmacies, over the last 44 years. Carolyn was visionary in her thinking and approach to expanding their company and having a positive community impact. A Funeral Mass will be on Thursday afternoon from Our Lady of the Assumption Church in Stratford.
