Canada’s next prime minister isn’t offering anything specific about the timing of his transition into office.
Newly-chosen Liberal leader Mark Carney met with outgoing Prime Minister Justin Trudeau and the Liberal caucus on Monday.
Carney told reporters he expects “a quick and seamless transition” as he takes the reins from Trudeau.
The two also discussed national security and Canada-U-S relations.
