The Island Regulatory and Appeals Commission has approved a decrease in the price of regular gasoline of 2.0 cents per litre. The price of furnace oil went down overnight by 6.0 cents per litre, while the price of diesel dropped by 5.0 cents per litre. Including taxes, pump prices for regular self-serve gasoline now range from $1.61 to $1.63 per litre. Diesel goes for $1.91 to $1.92 per litre. The maximum price for furnace oil is $1.30 per litre. Propane prices increased by between 1.7 to 4.8 cents per litre, and now range from 99 cents per litre to $1.03 per litre.
