Changes to Provincial Cabinet to be announced Thursday afternoon

Premier Rob Lantz will be unveiling changes to his new Cabinet Thursday.  A ceremony is being held early in the afternoon at Government House to swear-in the new Cabinet. The changes are necessary as Lantz had been serving as Minister of Education and Early Years before taking on the Premier’s role.  Cory Deagle, the Minister of Economic Development, Innovation and Trade, resigned from Cabinet on Wednesday to launch a bid for the leadership of the Progressive Conservative Party of PEI.  Former Premier Dennis King had also held a number of portfolios before his resignation.
