Island NDP Leader Michelle Neill is seeking her Party’s nomination as candidate for District 15 Brackley-Hunter River. A by-election is necessary in District 15 after the resignation last week of former Premier Dennis King. Neill had recently announced that she was seeking the party’s nomination for District 9 Charlottetown-Hillsborough Park, the seat left vacant by Natalie Jamieson, before it was publicly known that King would be stepping down. The Island NDP Leader says that she prefers to run in District 15 Brackley-Hunter River, where she has resided for over 25 years.
