Planned power outage Thursday in Summerside

The City of Summerside is advising of a planned power outage.   On Thursday, from 1:00 AM to 6:00 AM, a number of circuits will be offline.  The outage is necessary for Maritime Electric to connect Summerside to its Mobile Transfer Unit at the Sherbrooke Substation, an interim solution to help stabilize the city’s power grid.
