Malpeque MP Heath MacDonald concludes advocacy meetings in Washington, D.C.

Malpeque MP Heath MacDonald, along with some other Atlantic Canadian MPs, concluded advocacy meetings in Washington on Wednesday.   The meetings focused on House representatives and key legislative staff from coastal states with key integrated economic drivers, such as Maine and Rhode Island.  MacDonald say the intent of the meetings was to strengthen partnerships and advocate against potential tariffs – to ensure officials understand the consequences and economic loss to trade disruptions.
