There was a house fire shortly after 8:00am on Monday on the Donaldston Road in Tenmile House. No one was injured in the blaze as the homeowner was able to escape safely after being alerted by a neighbour. The RCMP says the fire had started in the back corner of the house. The RCMP did have to close the Donaldston Rd. (Route 219) for several hours while emergency crews dealt with the incident. The East River Fire Department and Provincial Fire Marshal’s Office also responded to the scene. The fire is not considered suspicious in nature
