A busy 24 hours for RCMP last Wednesday and Thursday as they issued a combined 108 charges and warnings under the provincial highway traffic act. A 27 year old man was arrested in the Mount Stewart area and charged with impaired driving. And a 38 year old man was also arrested for impaired operation of a vehicle after a single vehicle crash on the Bunbury Road.
Among other charges laid were some for operating a vehicle while suspended and speeding.
RCMP and PEI Conservation officers in Prince County also checked a number of snowmobiles and passenger vehicles for compliance relating to impaired driving and vehicle documentation.
