Charlottetown Police say they have seen a spike in the number of thefts from vehicles reported over the past week.
Police have outlined at least a dozen areas across Charlottetown where such thefts have been reported since last Friday. Charlottetown Police will be stepping up patrols in those areas.
In all cases, Police say vehicle doors were left unlocked. Items stolen include wallets, purses, gift cards, clothing/sporting goods, sunglasses and loose change.
