Wayne Carew, Kim Green and Wayne Proude to be inducted into JA PEI Business Hall of Fame

Junior Achievement PEI has announced the 2025 inductees into the JA PEI Business Hall of Fame – Wayne Carew, Kim Green and Wayne Proude. Wayne Carew is a prominent business and community leader, having been owner of Carew Chev Olds Cadillac and Carew Ford Lincoln, and serving on numerous boards of community organizations and programs.  He’s also served as Chair and Co-Chair of the 2023 Canada Winter Games and 2009 Canada Summer Games.  Kim Green’s entrepreneurial journey began with the revitalization of the closed Kays Bros Ltd and building Kays Wholesale into a multi-million dollar business before its successful sale in December 2021.  In May of 1965, Wayne Proude started Proude’s Shoes and has since served several generations of families who have been loyal to his family business. The inductees will be officially honoured at the JA PEI Business Hall of Fame Gala on May 22nd at the Delta Hotels by Marriott Prince Edward.
