Special Weather Statement issued as PEI faces messy weather on Thursday

There’s a Special Weather Statement in effect for significant winter weather across the Island on Thursday.  It will begin about mid-day on Thursday and continue into Thursday night.  15 to 20 cm of snow is possible over western sections of PEI, while central and eastern PEI will see a mix of snow, ice pellets and freezing  rain.
