Prime Minister Justin Trudeau is set to speak with U-S President Donald Trump about the trade war between the U-S and Canada. Trump announced he would be speaking with leaders from Canada and Mexico ahead of the tariff start on Tuesday.
Canada is retaliating with 25 per cent tariffs of its own, targeting 155-billion-dollars worth of American goods, including alcohol, furniture and natural resources.
Trudeau says he has spoken with President Antonio Costa of the European Council, ahead of the Informal European Union leaders’ retreat today.
