A big search-and-rescue operation continues Thursday morning in the waters of America’s Potomac River after Wednesday night’s deadly midair crash of a passenger jet and a military helicopter near the U-S Capitol. An American Airlines jet carrying 60 passengers and four crew members collided with a U-S Army Blackhawk helicopter while the plane was on approach to land at Washington’s Reagan National Airport. Three soldiers were onboard the helicopter, which was on a training flight at the time. There’s been no word yet officially on casualties.
